Japanese women Anon Matsuoka and Kana Nakashio win the women’s QS5,000 and Pro Junior competitions

Japanese athletes Anon Matsuoka and Kana Nakashio emerged victorious in the highly competitive women’s QS5,000 and Pro Junior competitions at the esteemed 2023 Kului Pro World Surf League (WSL) Qualifying Series (QS) 5,000 and Pro Junior event.

The culmination of this thrilling contest took place on the final day, leaving spectators in awe of the remarkable performances showcased.

Ujung Bocur presented formidable and commendable 4-6 feet waves, offering both a challenge and an opportunity for the surfers to exhibit their skills.

Anon Matsuoka of Japan displayed exceptional prowess and claimed the prestigious title in the women’s QS 5,000 category. Simultaneously, her compatriot Kana Nakashio secured a well-deserved victory in the women’s Pro Junior division. Notably, Matsuoka’s outstanding performance extended beyond her win, as she also secured the second position in the Women’s Pro Junior contest.
